Spent the weekend replacing the old router. Notes for future me: label the cables before unplugging anything, and the firmware update takes longer than the wizard claims. Everything is faster now, though the printer still refuses to cooperate. While the downloads ran I finally got around to cleaning out the storage closet, so the weekend was not a total loss on either front.
